"Frosty Freeze is a family treat of ours. Whenever I have an extra hour after school, sports, etc, this is our go-to spot for a treat. I love that they can accommodate my dairy allergy too! Their staff is so kind. Anita is very friendly and truly a breath of fresh air. Amazing food, amazing service."

"Stumbled across this ice cream place by accident when waiting for a table at a restaurant down the road. So glad we tried it! I LOVED LOVED the German chocolate ice cream, it was perfectly smooth and not overly sweet. My boyfriend really liked the classic twist cone, too. "I went here for the vegan ice cream. Super, super good! A little pricey but worth every penny. Must ask for extra toppings or there won't be much in there. No longer open until 11pm, closes at 10pm now for fall hours. Friendly staff."

"I can comfortably state that this is generally some of the best ice cream in Metro Detroit. Top five. The reason is that they offer a dairy-free option that is more than tasty. In fact, I have driven six or 7 miles out of my way just to purchase when I’m in the mood for ice cream. Their choices change over the years, but generally they have had chocolate and vanilla options made out of both soy and/or rice milk. If you choose, you can then add any ingredients just like any other traditional dairy product. Although this may sound small, this is still difficult to find at a reasonable price. Even though it is approximately 1/2 drive-through and 1/2 window service, the employees move swiftly. Pricing is what you would expect within our local community, so it is fair and reasonable. If you are in the Berkley area and anyone in your group appreciates a non-dairy choice, this is an awesome option."

"So many unique flavors for soft served ice cream. I've tried several and haven't been disappointed by any. The drive thru and parking lot are a bit difficult to get through during the really busy hours, but I'm still able to find a spot to park 90% of the time."
